When obesity becomes a hazard to us all, is the day when a 440 lb deceased woman is cremated and because of the amount of body fat stored on her, it sets the crematorium ablaze!
This interesting event took place in Austria, where the crematorium cooked up to degrees of 300 C. Normally, one doesn’t have much worries when cremating a body but because fat is extremely flammable, someone with a little too much of it within confinements not built to stand that amount of increased heat, these types of problems can arise.
Due to this recent event, Austria and Switzerland have decided to look over their criteria on specific weight limits when it comes to cremating a body. (Gizmodo)
Commentary
I’d have to say this must have been a very embarrassing situation for this poor lady’s family. To be so overweight, that your fat nearly burned down a building, is shameful to say the least. I am not hating on fat people, but there’s a lesson to be learned here. I am not going to say what it is, but I am sure we’re all smart enough to figure it out
